Reinigungsdatenbank der Wiener Linien

The Reinigungsdatenbank (RDB) is the software solution for the Viennese public transport system which manages all vehicle related cleaning operations. Cleanings get scheduled, delegated, marked as executed, checked and invoiced via this multi-platform application. All this for more than 2300 vehicles, possibly at underground locations, in every weather and 356 days a year.

In partnership with Fluidtime I designed (software) and programmed the Android application which is used by authority personnel to check past cleanings, designed the REST API for communication with the server part, extended the Webservice Backend with new functionality, and refactored the code behind the Windows Mobile 6.5 application, which is used by the cleaning personnel to log executed cleanings and send them to the backend.

More Information about the RDB can be found on the Fluidtime website.
